Sun, soak, shop, sip, sleep repeat was my Bali state of mind.
It was the last leg of our trip and all I did was relax and unwind. My week in Bali was spent reading a book by the beach and then finally decide to get dressed to either go shopping, get a massage and then head off for drinks somewhere. It was very easy to fall into this luxurious routine of doing nothing.
Bali being the last destination in our holiday meant that I could check in my luggage on the way back to Doha, no more connecting flights and running from one airport to another. Obviously, I translated this as my time to do some major shopping damage after restraining myself on buying anything that could add weight to my allotted 7kgs hand carry luggage. And boy was I in the right place in Seminyak.
After my morning shopping spree one day, I went back to the hotel and immediately wore my purchases and went to lunch with Anthony where we took some impromptu shots of my new purchase outfit, no more repeats this time folks! This right here was all purchased in Bali, even my sunglasses that say ‘crap’ on the side. Seminyak was my shopping sanctuary.
Now, when can I move in?
Anthony
What are these lovely shoes you’re wearing?
Amy
They look like Birkenstock; if they are, they’re sooooo in fashion!!!
Karen
They’re Birkenstocks Arizona that I got in Singapore. I resisted these ugly shoes for so long but I find them incredibly comfortable- I’m hooked!
