Figuring out what to wear for the upcoming holidays can be quite stressful especially when you have a number of holiday parties, dinner and gatherings lined up. I normally don’t put any attention into what I’m going to wear until the day of and find myself rushing to the mall in search of a dress. This year, I’m hosting a couple of parties at our house so it’s really the last thing on my mind. That doesn’t mean I will settle for an ugly sweater, jeans and furry boots since I still want to look festive and make an effort.

My solution is to pick a holiday uniform that I can dress up or down, re-wear and recyle with some items in my closet. This neoprene blazer and skirt is the perfect score for me. It’s a departure from sparkly dresses but the print and rich emerald green color feels just as festive. I plan to wear the blazer and skirt with a lacy top for Christmas Eve then wear the skirt with a chunky sweater for Christmas Day brunch, and the blazer with black jumpsuit for New Years Eve.
